What is the RealToken Wallet?

The RealToken Wallet is a Crypto Wallet secured by your social login or email. It is secure and simple. You will get full control of your tokens and full access to DeFi.

Should I choose the RealToken Wallet or my own Private Wallet?

Generally speaking, if you are new to Crypto and DeFi, we recommend using the RealToken Wallet for ease of use and simplicity.

What is great about the RealToken Wallet is that you will always have access to your tokens and funds as long as you remember your social login. That is the beauty of this wallet compared to other Crypto Wallets, where you would have to manage your own Private Key and Seed Phrases.

How secure is it?

For extra security, you have the option to add a multifactor authentication to your wallet. If you choose to do so, you will be asked to save your device as 1 MFA method. Then afterwards, you will choose an additional Social Login method.

Once completed, you will always need your Social Login and one of two MFA Methods to access your wallet.

Also, as part of Web3Auth’s SDK, RealT will never store your Private Key in your RealToken Wallet.

What if I lose access to my Social Login?

When you create your RealToken Wallet, you also designate RealT as a Guardian on your account. This means that in the rare scenario that you lose access to your account, RealT may be able to transfer your Wallet to a new Social Login. Fees may apply for this service.

What is RealT?

‘RealT’ is a hybrid of the word realty, real estate property, and token. RealT is a platform that offers simplified investments in real estate. Our mission is to democratize access to real estate investment opportunities, curated by a team of real estate professionals.

RealT sells real estate property through the internet, allowing real estate to be purchased from nearly anywhere in the world. RealT properties are fractionalizable, so suitable investors can invest any amount that fits their needs. Displaying my RealTokens in MetaMask

Congratulations you've purchased RealTokens on the platform then we let you know that your order has been delivered on your address directly but you don't see it on Metamask yet because in order to see your RealTokens you need to manually add them.

1- Find the contract related to the property

From the "Portfolio" tab of your account on our website, select the relevant property. Top right corner of it you'll see a green XDAI icon. Pease note that the process is the same with a property on Ethereum, only the name of the icon will change.

Click on it and you will be redirected to either Etherscan (ETH) or Gnosisscan (GnosisChain) depending on the blockchain you're interested in. Now copy the contract address.

2- Add the RealToken manually in MetaMask

From MetaMask, click on import a token ➡️ custom token ➡️ then you paste the adress you just copied.

Weekly Income and Selling Your RealTokens

RealT delivers the rent distribution every week, and there are three ways to get it!

1. Rent Distribution on Ethereum Main Network

On Ethereum, rent distributions are delivered in USDC, a stablecoin whose value equals one US Dollar. When choosing rent distribution on Ethereum, holders of RealTokens have to activate a smart contract (you pay gas fees) to receive the USDC to their address.

In the Portfolio page of realt.co, you must connect to the Ethereum wallet address you registered with RealT, then click the "Claim Rent on Ethereum" button. Rent distribution accumulates in the Ethereum rent vault until you claim it.

2. Rent Distribution on Gnosis Chain

Rent distribution on Gnosis Chain doesn't require you to activate any smart contract; it´s "airdropped" for free to the Rent Wallet address registered in your Portfolio.

Gnosis Chain offers a few more options than Ethereum for your rent distribution:

You can choose to receive rent distribution in USDC or xDAI, two stablecoins with a fixed value of one US Dollar.

You can also choose to have your Rent distribution delivered in armmWXDAI or armmUSDC. These tokens represent a deposit of $1 in XDAI / USDC into the RMM. This means your rent distribution is delivered into the RMM, and you receive the corresponding armm deposit tokens to your wallet address. You can then claim the WXDAI / USDC at any time in the RMM, and until you do, your rent distribution accumulates an interest p

Once a year we do a third-party appraisal of each of the RealT property, during this appraisal the 10% of RealT fees are removed from the total value of the tokens. That 10% of fees are replaced by the governance token.

During the creation of our governance token, we created the SOON.

The SOON token is a "temporary" token, the SOON is frozen (it mean you can't swap it or transfer it) and it has a fixed redemption value of $1 in governance tokens (the possibility of swapping your SOON for governance tokens is not yet live).

Adding Gnosis Chain to MetaMask

To use the network "Gnosis Chain" with MetaMask, you must manually add Gnosis Chain to your MetaMask. The first step is to select the "Custom RPC" option in the list of your networks in MetaMask.

Then, you need to paste these details:

Network Name: Gnosis Chain
New RPC URL: https://rpc.gnosischain.com
Chain ID: 100
Symbol: xDai
Block Explorer URL: https://gnosisscan.io/

You click "save" and Gnosis Chain is now added to your MetaMask!
