‘RealT’ is a hybrid of the word realty, real estate property, and token. RealT is a platform that offers simplified investments in real estate. Our mission is to democratize access to real estate investment opportunities, curated by a team of real estate professionals.

RealT sells real estate property through the internet, allowing real estate to be purchased from nearly anywhere in the world. RealT properties are fractionalizable, so suitable investors can invest any amount that fits their needs. Additionally, RealT has reduced the time to purchase real estate from a minimum of 30 days and numerous steps with third parties, to just 30 minutes and on your phone or computer.

With tokenization, real estate investments can be made affordable to nearly anyone. A single token for RealT properties costs around $50 per token, which are the lowest investment minimums the real estate industry is able to offer. Traditional pen+paper competitors to RealT have $5,000-10,000 investment minimums.

Real estate is also a notoriously illiquid industry. By turning real estate into digital tokens, real estate can be accessed by far larger numbers of potential buyers, both due to fractionalization of the tokens and the potential reach of internet-based markets. The larger market participants that digital tokens are able to reach increases the liquidity of real estate. What is the RealToken Wallet?

The RealToken Wallet is a Crypto Wallet secured by your social login or email. It is secure and simple. You will get full control of your tokens and full access to DeFi.

Should I choose the RealToken Wallet or my own Private Wallet?

Generally speaking, if you are new to Crypto and DeFi, we recommend using the RealToken Wallet for ease of use and simplicity.

What is great about the RealToken Wallet is that you will always have access to your tokens and funds as long as you remember your social login. That is the beauty of this wallet compared to other Crypto Wallets, where you would have to manage your own Private Key and Seed Phrases.

How secure is it?

For extra security, you have the option to add a multifactor authentication to your wallet. If you choose to do so, you will be asked to save your device as 1 MFA method. Then afterwards, you will choose an additional Social Login method.

Once completed, you will always need your Social Login and one of two MFA Methods to access your wallet.

Also, as part of Web3Auth’s SDK, RealT will never store your Private Key in your RealToken Wallet.

What if I lose access to my Social Login?

When you create your RealToken Wallet, you also designate RealT as a Guardian on your account. This means that in the rare scenario that you lose access to your account, RealT may be able to transfer your Wallet to a new Social Login. Fees may apply for this service.

Weekly Income and Selling Your RealTokens

RealT delivers the incomes every week, and there are three ways to get it.

1. Income Distribution on Ethereum Main Network

On Ethereum, incomes are delivered in USDC, a stablecoin whose value equals one US Dollar. When choosing income distribution on Ethereum, holders of RealTokens have to activate a smart contract (you pay gas fees) to receive the USDC to their address.

In the Portfolio page of realt.co, you must connect to the Ethereum wallet address you registered with RealT, then click the "Claim Rent on Ethereum" button. Income distribution accumulates in the Ethereum rent vault until you claim it.

2. Income Distribution on Gnosis Chain

Income distribution on Gnosis Chain doesn't require you to activate any smart contract; it´s "airdropped" for free to the Income Wallet address registered in your Portfolio.

Displaying my RealTokens in MetaMask

Congratulations you've purchased RealTokens on the platform then we let you know that your order has been delivered on your address directly but you don't see it on Metamask yet because in order to see your RealTokens you need to manually add them.

1- Find the contract related to the property

From the "Portfolio" tab of your account on our website, select the relevant property. Top right corner of it you'll see a green XDAI icon. Pease note that the process is the same with a property on Ethereum, only the name of the icon will change.

Click on it and you will be redirected to either Etherscan (ETH) or Gnosisscan (GnosisChain) depending on the blockchain you're interested in. Now copy the contract address.

2- Add the RealToken manually in MetaMask

From MetaMask, click on import a token ➡️ custom token ➡️ then you paste the adress you just copied.

What is a DAO?

A DAO is an organizational structure based on blockchain, where governance rules are encoded in smart contracts. It allows for collective and transparent decision-making, without a central authority, to evolve protocols, projects, and allows participation of anyone without discrimination, as long as they respect the common rules of the DAO.

What is the RealToken DAO?

The RealToken DAO aims to create a decentralized community where REG token holders can participate in important decisions regarding the ecosystem of decentralized applications (DApps) usable with RealTokens. The idea is to make investment in physical world assets as accessible, liquid, and transparent as possible, while providing more opportunities and use cases for investors with their investments. A user can therefore participate in the governance of the DAO by owning REG, and make investments through the purchase and ownership of RealTokens. This can be one or the other or both; it is not necessary to own RealTokens to participate in the governance of the DAO, just as it is not necessary to own REG tokens to use the DAO's services.
